Abstract

Kelahiran prematur menjadi salah satu penyebab terbesar kematian bayi yang merupakan salah satu tujuan dari SDGs. Salah satu faktor yang mampu mempengaruhi kelahiran prematur adalah infeksi pada maternal. Terlebih dalam masa pandemik COVID-19, infeksi COVID-19 menyebabkan risiko kelahiran prematur yang lebih tinggi oleh perubahan kondisi tubuh ibu semasa infeksi. Penulisan literature review ini bertujuan untuk membahas mengenai infeksi COVID-19 terhadap kejadian kelahiran prematur. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode literature review dari 20 artikel ilmiah yang ditemukan melalui basis data NCBI, PubMed, Google Scholar, dan Portal Garuda dengan kata kunci “covid”, “pregnancy”, dan “preterm birth” yang kemudian dianalisis dari tahun 2020–2021 dengan metode systematic literature review yang terdiri dari mengumpulkan, mengevaluasi, serta mengembangkan penelitian dengan bahasan pokok tertentu dan terpilih sebanyak 15 artikel yang dibahas. Dari penelitian-penelitian yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan bahwa terdapat hubungan infeksi COVID-19 terhadap kejadian kelahiran prematur.
