Analisis Perbedaan Pengetahuan, Perilaku, Personal Hygiene, dan Kualitas Hidup pada Anak Penderita Skabies dengan Tidak Skabies
Abstract
Skabies merupakan salah satu penyakit tropis yang terabaikan yang sering dialami anak-anak. Faktor risiko yang dapat menyebabkan skabies diantaranya tingkat pengetahuan, perilaku, dan personal hygiene. Penyakit ini dapat mempengaruhi kondisi fisik yang dapat mengakibatkan infeksi sekunder sampai menimbulkan kematian. Selain itu dapat menyebabkan kondisi psikologis yang akan berdampak pada kualitas hidup anak. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk melakukan analisis perbedaan pengetahuan, perilaku, personal hygiene, kualitas hidup pada anak penderita skabies dan tidak skabies. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deksriptif dan korelasional dengan cross sectional approach. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu anak yang tinggal di salah satu RT di wilayah timur Indonesia berjumlah 90 anak dengan teknik sampling total. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner modifikasi dengan hasil uji validitas di atas nilai R tabel dan hasil nilai Alpha Cronbach di atas 0,80. Uji statistik penelitian ini menggunakan analisis distribusi frekuensi dan Kruskal Wallis. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa ada perbedaan pengetahuan, perilaku, personal hygiene dan kualitas hidup pada anak penderita skabies dan tidak skabies (nilai p = 0,000). Hal tersebut harus ditatalaksana dengan baik sehingga kualitas hidup anak penderita skabies dapat meningkat.
