Kecerdasan Spiritual dengan Kecanduan Internet pada Mahasiswa Keperawatan

Abstract

Pertumbuhan penggunaan internet di Indonesia dari tahun ke tahun terus meningkat. Penggunaan internet yang berlebihan dapat menimbulkan masalah yang dikenal dengan istilah kecanduan internet. Kelompok usia yang paling berisiko mengalami efek negatif penggunaan internet adalah remaja. Salah satu faktor yang diketahui memiliki peran dalam terjadinya kecanduan internet adalah kecerdasan spiritual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara kecerdasan spiritual dengan kecanduan internet. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif korelasional menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa keperawatan, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 76 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Internet Addiction Test (IAT) Kimberly Young terdiri dari 20 pertanyaan dengan nilai cronbach alpha 0,54-0,82 dan kuesioner kecerdasan spiritual yang terdiri dari 36 item pernyataan dengan nilai Cronbach Alpha 0,99. Analisa data menggunakan uji statistik pearson correlation test. Uji statistik pearson correlation menunjukkan p-value = 0,63 (>0,05). Yang berarti tidak terdapat hubungan yang positif antara kecerdasan spiritual dengan kecanduan internet pada mahasiswa keperawatan STIKes Surya Global Yogyakarta. Tingkat spiritualitas secara signifikan tidak mempengaruhi kecanduan internet secara langsung dikarenakan fenomena durasi penggunakan internet oleh mahasiswa yang tinggi, yaitu 7-12 jam per hari untuk keperluan yang bermacam-macam, meliputi media sosial, belajar online, dan sebagai hiburan.
