Peningkatan Kualitas Perawatan dan Keselamatan Pasien melalui Pemanfaatan Tele-Intensive Care Unit (TELE-ICU)”
Abstract
Ruang Perawatan Intensif (ICU) merupakan suatu ruangan dengan tingkat kompleksitas pasien yang tinggi yang dilengkapi peralatan khusus dan staf yang berkualifikasi. Dalam usaha meningkatkan keselamatan pasien, maka diperlukan tindakan keperawatan yang cepat dan tepat serta pengambilan keputusan yang cepat yang ditunjang dengan data hasil observasi dan monitor secara kontinu oleh perawat. Salah satu teknologi informasi yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dan keselamatan pasien adalah dengan penggunaan Tele-ICU. Tele ICU dapat membantu dokter dan perawat untuk meningkatkan perawatan ke pasien. Tele ICU dirancang untuk menghubungkan pasien dengan petugas kesehatan di ruang ICU secara jarak jauh. Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan Tele-ICU dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dan keselamatan pasien. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan adalah literatur review yang diambil dari jurnal dan artikel pada ProQuest database, EBSCOhost database, dengan kata kunci Tele-ICU, tele-health, nursing information, nursing technology, mulai tahun 2013-2018.Jurnal yang diambil sebanyak 17 dan dilakukan skrining sehingga mendapatkan 5 jurnal untuk diteaah. Berdasarkan hasil literature review didapatkan bahwa pemanfaatan tekonologi Tele-ICU, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan perawatan kepada pasien dan keselamatan pasien melalui komunikasi jarak jauh antara perawat dan dokter mengenai status kondisi pasien.
